Diwali in Aarhus 2026 – celebrate the Festival of Lights with KALAI
KALAI – Kultur and Live Art of India, the largest Indian cultural association in Aarhus, warmly invites you and your family to Diwali Mahotsav 2026: an evening of Indian culture, music, dance, delicious food and festive fun. Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, falls on Sunday 8 November 2026 – KALAI’s community celebration follows on Saturday 21 November 2026, so the whole Indian community in Aarhus and East Jutland, and everyone curious about Indian culture, can celebrate together in one place.
Everyone is welcome – members and non-members, Indian and Danish families, students and newcomers to Aarhus. Bring your festive spirit!

✅ Registration is mandatory for everyone, including children. Entry is subject to venue capacity, and previous KALAI Diwali celebrations have sold out – please book in advance. Tickets are non-refundable. Not a member yet? Join KALAI for DKK 150 a year and pay the member price at all KALAI events.
