KALAI is excited to invite you to “KALAI Dandiya Night 2024” – a night bursting with vibrant colors, energetic beats, and irresistible food.
Enjoy a feast of delicious Indian cuisine, mouthwatering snacks, and refreshing drinks at our food stalls—perfect for keeping your energy up for non-stop dancing.
Dandiya is a traditional folk dance performed during the nine days long festival called Navratri (Nine nights). Dandiya is usually performed in a group with decorated wooden sticks, which are used as props.
If you have no experience with Dandiya dance, don’t worry, all you need to bring is charm to dance and a big appetite.
Venue: AIS – Aarhus International School, Dalagas Avenue 12, 8000 Aarhus C.
Date/Time: Saturday 5th Oct 2024 from 16:30 till 20:00
Entry Fee: 50 Kr. for Non KALAI members, 40 Kr. (20% discount) for KALAI members & 35 Kr. for Youth (12-18 years), Students & Pensioner. Children below 12 years old have free entry. Note that Entry fee is non-refundable.
Payment mode: Online registration. If we have place available on the date of event then you can pay using Mobilepay, Credit/Debit Card or Cash at the venue.
Food stalls: Food can be purchased from the food stalls at the venue. If you are interested in keeping your food stall then please contact us on email events@kalai.dk or Whatsapp/SMS on +45-50119200.
Dandiya sticks: We have limited numbers of Dandiya sticks available at the venue. If you have one then please bring along with you.
Parking: Standard (Private & Kommune) paid/free parking available around the venue.
Outside food/drink: It is strictly prohibited to bring any food/drink from outside.
Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol in/around the venue area is strictly prohibited.

Please register here to avoid last minute rush. Entry is based on pre-booking only. If you come directly to the venue then entry might be denied.
Kindly do not come to the venue without pre-booking. We will not be able to accept more entries and your entry might be denied.
